Hi! My name is Jessica.  I live in Southern California in the high desert with my husband Jesse, and our four daughters (12, 9, 6, and 2).

I have been a stay at home mom for 12 years.  Before that, I was a full time student, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in English.  When my girls are older, I plan to pursue a career in marital and family therapy. I like to joke that I'm currently interning with my family- learning the ins and outs of marriage, child development, and family life.

As far as hobbies, I have always enjoyed paper crafting best (though I have plenty of other hobbies, as well).  When I was a child, I remember watching paper crafting tutorials on television, and enjoying the sound of paper being manipulated, folded, and cut. (Riveting, I know).  I also remember sneaking into my older cousin's room to look through her box of stickers (and steal her duplicates); having a prized pencil box filled with cute erasers, pencils, and little treasures (my neighbor stole my teddy bear eraser- bad karma obviously); and art journaling throughout my childhood. I remember saving movie ticket stubs, pretty packaging, business cards, straw wrappers, receipts, letters from friends, birthday cards, napkins from parties, etc.  When Jesse and I were dating, he would indulge me by buying me stationery and stickers.  One of my favorite gifts from him includes my first scrapbook, gel pens, and even more stickers.  I started traditional scrapbooking then. I have several family scrapbooks.

I started selling premade scrapbooks and paper bag albums on eBay years ago for those who like memory keeping, but didn't have the time or inclination to make them. Though I enjoyed selling them and encouraging memory keeping, I found that what I enjoyed most was connecting with other like minded people.

I stumbled upon my first blog in 2008. I remember being confused by it. It was a lifestyle blog; she would post beautiful pictures of her thrifted finds, her home, her garden, her family, a trip they had taken, etc. I didn't understand. Why was she sharing all of this? Was she selling something? It took me a while to realize that she blogged just to blog. She wasn't selling anything. I began to understand that she blogged simply because she enjoyed sharing bits of herself and her life, and she enjoyed connecting with others. She was sharing her passions just because.

Right now, I am also sharing just to share. I share just because I enjoy a little break from my internship ;) to share hobbies, goals, projects, recipes, parties, etc. A list of what I blog about is right here. My sidebar also has a quick glance of what I blog about.

Connect with me on Instagram, Flickr, Twitter, and/or Pinterest.

I sell handmade goods/kits in my etsy shop right here.
