On days 38 - 44, our girls went to VBX (formerly "VBS." The "X" stands for "experience"). My girls enjoyed singing songs, listening to stories, watching skits, playing indoor and outdoor games, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with friends. My mom still took my girls to the library on Tuesday for the weekly library program. They watched a magic show this week. On Saturday, we went on a moonlit hike at Devil's Punchbowl Natural Area. This was the first time we went hiking at night. It was a fun experience. Some portions of the hike were challenging. My girls slipped a couple of times and some parts were steep. Addy broke out into an encouraging song that she learned at VBX as she was climbing a steep incline: "I know that I can make it..." It was funny. :) (P.S. Going on a moonlit hike was on my summer manifesto).

It was another good week this week. I only have a couple of weeks left to share. Thanks for reading along. :)
