My daughters are currently on summer break. I am planning to do one, fun activity with them every day of their summer break. I will be documenting our various projects together and sharing them here every week and possibly more detailed projects within the week. This is our fourth summer doing this.

On Sunday, day 17, we celebrated father's day. We had a nice brunch together (I made breakfast sandwiches). That afternoon we went to our friends' daughter's first birthday. My girls enjoyed the magic show and having their faces painted. That night we went to my parents' house for a father's day dinner. :)
On Monday, day 18, we went to my parents' house again and played Skip-bo.
On Tuesday, day 19, my girls went to the library with my mom and spent the day with her. Jesse and I were able to go on a date together- we went to the beach to have dinner and walk along the beach. The best!
On Wednesday, day 20, we went to my sister Jennifer's to go swimming. My girls were thrilled.
On Thursday, day 21, Jesse took the girls to the park.
On Friday, day 22, we all went thrift store shopping in the afternoon. We really, really enjoy making fun, 50¢ purchases. I got a new basket planter. I love those.
On Saturday, day 23, Jesse took the girls out in the evening for Wendy's Frosty's (chocolate milkshakes) and caught a firework show.
It was a good week. :)
