jasmine's pocket scrapbook // project life: may 2015

This is another special, guest post by my friend (and sister ;) Jasmine. I invited her to share her 2015 pocket scrapbook with us. (See her first guest post: 12 Dates // Valentine's Day or Anniversary Gift Idea; her second: 8 1/2 x 11" Pocket Scrapbook Idea; her third: Making Time to Craft; her fourth: Active Living; and her fifth: How to Digitally Crop and Resize Your Photos).

I think I say this about every month, but I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing about the month of May when I was completing these layouts. My birthday, Mother’s Day, and other fun events all happened this month and I feel like I’m reliving them when I document the memories.

For Valentine’s Day I purchased a Groupon deal for a two-hour ATV Rental from Enjoy the Mountain. I seriously recommend it! We invited along my sister Jessica and my brother-in-law Jesse to ride along with us. My husband loved it somuch, he now wants to buy an ATV. *insert sideways glance emoji here.* I used an 8-pocket and a 9-pocket page protector for this spread and journaling cards from Project Life’s Travel-Themed card set. I also used journaling cards from Midnight Edition and used Recollections' wood embellishments from Michaels.

For my second spread, I used a 9-pocket and a 6-pocket page protector with journaling cards from the Midnight Edition Core Kit, A Beautiful Mess’ Ledger Journaling Cards, and a wooden embellishment from Freckled Fawn.

For my birthday, my family surprised me with a Mickey Mouse-themed Pajama Party. I love anything vintage-mickey and what I really wanted for my birthday was breakfast for dinner and a movie night, something casual where everyone could just relax. They completely blew me away with all of the details. They even made snack bags for the movie complete with vintage mickey tags and my husband bought a mickey waffle-maker. How amazing are they? For more of the party details, you can look here. For my layout, I stole the party’s backdrop paper (I am not kidding!) and journaled on that. Easiest layout ever ;)

For my third spread, I used 6-pocket and 3-pocket page protectors. I used journaling cards from Me & My Big Ideas- Summer Edition and the Midnight and Seafoam Core Kits. I embellished with stamps from Ali Edwards and a label from Freckled Fawn.

For my final layout for the month of May, I used a 3-pocket page protector a journaling card from Me & My Big Ideas- Here and Now Edition and Project Life’s Travel-Themed card set. I completed the layout with a flair badge from A Flair for Buttons. And that’s it! Thanks for letting me relive the month of May with you ;)

Thank you Jasmine! *Heart eyes emoji* for these layouts and that "You are capable of amazing things" printable

Keep up with Jasmine on Instagram. :)
