I completed these layouts this morning. I tend to overthink things. What embellishments should I add? What should I say?? Then, like today, I just go for it, and it gets done. No overthinking. What a relief to do it that way.
These are my layouts for April. (I shared the first week of April here).

I got that "Happy Easter" button at the 99 cent store with several other buttons. I was so happy when I spotted the set. They're so cute. On the right is Evie's 3rd grade field trip to Calico Ghost Town (an old West mining town). Jesse went with her and chaperoned a group of her friends. I included the informational sheet from the teacher and Calico's brochure and map.

Above is Evie's aquarium themed party, which I shared in more detail here.

We went to Dodgers game in April. It's above on the left. I cut down the tickets and put them in one pocket. I LOVE collecting paper souvenirs wherever we go to put in my book. Anyway, it was Jackie Robinson Day when we went. We received a Jackie Robinson replica jersey when we went it. It was really cool. I included a little booklet they were handing out and included it in my book.

On the right is Lani's first trip to Knott's Berry Farm with a club at school. Jesse chaperoned. :) I included the informational page from her teacher and cut it down to size. I think it's fun to look through old documents like that when you're older. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a paper hoarder!
On to May and finishing this thing!
Supplies and embellishments:
Project Life Design A, Project Life Design F; Project Life 6x12" (trimmed); Sunshine core cards; Kraft Core cards; Project Life grid cards; American Craft's Slick Writer; Recollections labels from Michael's; Me & My Big Ideas stickers; black and white weekly cards from I'm A Paper Nerd; vellum labels
To note: some of my supplies and embellishments are old and likely retired and/or I don't remember where I got them from, but if I missed something, ask in the comments and I will do my best with figuring out the source. I respond to most comments and questions within the comments section.
