At the beginning of the year I shared my memory keeping method for 2015 (which is exactly what I did in 2014). I have one, 12x12" binder from We R Memory Keepers for the entire year with several sectional, page protectors (my favorite are Design A from Project Life). I record 1 week per page unless there's a special event I want to document (like a birthday, vacation, wedding- for example).
I also use a smaller 8 1/2x11" book for my December Daily and another 8 1/2x11" book for our summer break months. (I just completed my summer book for 2014. See it here). Maybe it's overkill, but I also recap the summer months in a two page spread in my 12x12" book. I also recap December in my 12x12" book. This method works very well for me though. The small books are fun side projects.
For my summer break 2015 book this year I'm using
- a teal binder from Target
- these 4-pocket page protectors
- colorful cards from the Kraft core kit, Sunshine core kit, and Seafoam kit- to name a few
- grid cards for journaling spots.
but during the summer months I use plenty of bright, cheerful colors.
Basic supplies include:
- Fiskar's 12x12" cutter
- Pilot pens
- Tacky, adhesive circles
- Glue dots
My summer break book is one of my favorite projects of the year. I'm looking forward to putting my book together.
Are you memory keeping this year? What's your method?
