I've accumulated a few 3x4" core card kits / project life card kits for pocket scrapbooking. I have the midnight edition, the seafoam edition, the kraft edition, the sunshine edition, the grid cards, and several of the pocket pages cards from Me and My Big Ideas. I had organized them by kit for the longest time, but this passed weekend I thought, "Maybe color coordinated cards would work better for me."
Because there was no going back after mixing them up, I was kind of nervous to mix them up though.
"Whatever, self!" I thought. "I'm doing it!"
And I love it.
I put them in that cassette tape organizer that I repurposed a few years ago. (See it in my work space here).
After fighting with my cards organized by kits for so long, I actually can't believe I doubted doing this.
I put some of my spreads together in minutes yesterday. It used to takes days, weeks, even years. ;) Just kidding. It was a hassle though!
I think it's important to simplify your crafting process, and this has definitely simplified memory keeping for me.
