The original recipe for my family's favorite fruit salad calls for sour cream. It's similar to this recipe. I know! Sour cream? Sounds weird, but I assure you- it's really good!
For the recipe I'm sharing today I substituted Greek yogurt for sour cream in our regular fruit salad recipe. Greek yogurt is a lighter option.

To make this fruit salad, combine 1/2 c of Greek yogurt; about 3/4 c of your favorite, canned fruit (I used fruit cocktail, pineapple chunks, mandarins, peaches, and pears); 1/8 c of marshmallows; and 1/8 c of sweetened, coconut flakes.

That's it! This is another sweet, satisfying, light (!) dessert.
