five on friday
1. I'm a little too into buying calendars/planners for the new year. It's like, "Calm down, self." My Target f.i.n.a.l.l.y. got the Sugar Paper line of calendars and planners. I don't know which one to choose! I also came across pretty succulent (!) calendars from Love Carli and from Lovebird Paper. I also really like this Les Femmes calendar by Rifle Paper Co.
2. It's almost December Daily time. I'm going to be making a book similar to the one I made last year. Though I was tempted to go with a small book like my friend Rachel's handmade vintage ephemera Christmas journal in her etsy shop Alice and Elsie or Xenia's advent journal in her shop Saturday Morning Vintage.
3. One of these days (or one of these years), I'm going to make a fall wreath. Pam Garrison's felt fall wreath is lovely.
4. One of my goals for November is to complete the 4 Weeks to a More Organized Home challenge. I'm in the middle of my assignments and have already noticed significant improvements. Part of the challenge includes establishing a morning routine. There are steps for doing that here. Because I've been bettering my morning routine: 6 Time-Saving Hacks for People With Busy Mornings by Jennifer Holder on Wise Bread is helpful.
5."Overthinking is the biggest cause of our unhappiness. Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off things that don’t help you. Think positively." I'm guilty of overthinking. I needed to read this Wisdom Quote by Jelly Wong on Lifehack.
Hope you have a good one! :)
