For Addy's birthday, we headed to
Oak Glen for a picnic. My sister-in-laws, my brothers, my sisters, my parents, my aunt (who's visiting from Texas), my niece, and nephew were able to come celebrate Addy turning 5 with us. We decided to picnic at
Oak Glen's historic schoolhouse museum. The grounds are beautiful- a bonus is that there's a children's playground nearby. It was a very pretty day for a picnic. After our picnic, my girls gathered sticks and acorns (currently there's a huge collection of them in my living room) and they played on the playground. Some of us went to see the schoolhouse.

After our adventures, we concluded our birthday picnic with carrot cake and a doughnut cake (I'm obsessed).

It was a lovely, low-key birthday. :)
