pumpkin smoothie

pumpkin smoothie
I've strayed from having my regular, green smoothie lately. I've replaced it with a pumpkin smoothie. It is the season for it, after all. I've tried a few variations, but this is my favorite so far:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of pumpkin spice
light whipped cream (this is non negotiable for me)
Blend until smooth.

One of my goals for September is to cook/bake with pumpkin, but it's still too hot to bake where I live.  I'm happy making smoothies 'til then. :)
