Day 62 (Saturday) was a quiet day. We spent the day at home reading, listening to inspirational podcasts, listening to music, lounging. In the evening, Jesse and I went on a dinner date. The girls went to my parent's house and had dinner with them. Like I said, it was a quiet, but nice day.
Day 63 (Sunday) we went to a friend's retirement party. It was a backyard party. My girls skipped across step stones most of the time, and nothing could be more fun apparently. :) It was a lovely party.
Day 64/65 (Monday and Tuesday) We worked on a picnic blanket. It's so cute. I can't wait to share it with you. (It's still not complete! Did you read yesterday's blog post? We've been so busy!) :/
Day 66 (Wednesday) was the last day of summer break. *Insert more sobs here.* We had a nice dinner together (pizza), went to the park, so they could ride their scooters, and got ice cream. Ice cream is the antidote to everything, I think.
**Every Tuesday we went to the library and every Friday we went to get a frozen treat.
