summer break week #10

**My kids are currently on summer break. Like last year (see 2013's summer break activities here), I am planning to do one, fun activity with them every day. I will be documenting our various projects/fun outings together and sharing them here on Saturday mornings [sometimes later in the day] and possibly more detailed projects within the week. Read more about how this project got started here.**

We had an excellent week this week.
Day 55 & 56 (Saturday & Sunday) we prepared for our upcoming vacation and did some back to school shopping. My girls had too much fun clothes shopping. ;)
Day 57, 58, & 59 (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday) we went to Palm Springs and stayed at The Saguaro hotel, which I've been wanting to see for a while. It's eye candy. We went swimming (my girls love night swimming as much as I do), relaxed in the hotel room, had good food, and enjoyed our time relaxing together. I'll be sharing more pictures of The Saguaro next week.
Day 60 (Thursday) we did some more back to school shopping. We browsed through Target's school supplies. I love back to school shopping.

Day 61 (Friday) we went to a local ice cream/doughnut shop. (I know. Double the trouble. ;) I got that waffle cone sundae. Isn't it cute?
I really enjoyed this week, and am sure my girls did, too. :)

**Every Tuesday we go to the library and every Friday we get a frozen treat.
