I made this sandwich a few weeks ago, but didn't think it was that great, which is why I didn't share it then. My kids, however, really liked this sandwich. As I was preparing our grocery list for this week, my daughter insisted we have waffle sandwiches. I decided to go ahead and share the recipe. Maybe the little people in your life will like this sandwich, too.
For this sandwich, make waffles according to package directions (or from scratch if you're up for it). Heat your favorite type of bacon (ours is turkey) and prepare your eggs to your liking (my kids prefer scrambled). Layer eggs and bacon in your waffles. My waffle maker makes big waffles, so I made 2 sandwiches from 1 waffle by cutting it into 4 parts. Drizzle maple syrup on top. And that's it!
Like I said, I didn't think these were that great, but my kids seemed to really like them.
