June was a good month. Busy (like all months, but) in the best way. This month was filled with daily, fun, summer break activities for my girls. Favorite activities this month include going to the library, making a summer calendar for our summer manifesto, making mini cereal box seed starters, getting a frozen treat every Friday, and making terrarium planters. (See more of our summer break activities here).
I shared various projects and my craft space on Workspace Wednesday. I surprised myself this month by painting a couple of plant portraits (surprised because paint is not my typical medium). This month I also shared that I recycle minced, garlic jars to store tiny embellishments. I also shared how I'm organizing my Project Life book for documenting our summer. I can't wait to show you some layouts soon.
This month I added two, new sandwiches to my 52 Sandwiches project: a pineapple + sticky macadamia nuts sandwich and a beef sausage, mozzarella, black olives, + pesto sandwich. I also shared my top ten favorite sandwiches thus far.
See? Busy. But in a great way. ;)
Here's an update on where I stand with my goals for June. (Sometimes I introduce goals that stay goals past the month they were introduced).
I had a successful month with this. This will be a goal next month, as well, because my girls are still on summer break.
I am taking pictures, getting organizing, and working on it. Hooray.
So. Fun. I insist you go night swimming if you haven't. :)
Happy Monday !
