Every month at the end of the month, I recap my monthly activities/goals and link to various personal blog posts. See all of 2014's monthly recaps here.
Because I'm so busy, the time seems to go by so quickly. The end of the month is here already! This month I worked on my ongoing projects and my goals for this month. Here's an update of the progress made on my April goals:
★Do the "100 happy days" challenge
I am working on this, and posting pictures on Instagram (my username is jessicarrodarte). If I don't post the day of, I remember to post the next day. I blogged about the project here.
★Embrace the present moment & be flexible
Several times this month when I started to feel overwhelmed, I stopped myself and realized that whatever was overwhelming me wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I've been reminding myself to enjoy the present moment. I think I've been doing well with this.
★Read daily to Addy & Juli
I definitely read more, but not daily. Still, this is now an ongoing project for me. A good one, I think.
★Completely catch up with Project Life
Cripes. No. I didn't catch up completely, but I recently finished the month of February, so. . . that's progress.
This month I blogged about 5 years of blogging. I gave away 5 kits:
I also blogged about working on my craft space, which is an ongoing project until I feel it's complete. I typically discuss my current paper crafting projects and the status of my workspace on Workspace Wednesday.
I also blogged about My Weight Loss Toolbox, which is s big project/lifestyle change. I discussed my healthy breakfast routine:
and tips for eating more vegetables:
This month I added 4 sandwiches to my 52 Sandwiches project. My favorites were the Panera inspired sandwiches (smoked chicken panini and chicken and cheddar flatbread):
April was a good month to my family. This month Evie turned 8 and Addy turned 4 1/2. Now when Addy's age is discussed, she insists she is no longer 4, but 4 1/2. It's so cute. :)

Hope you're having a good one!
