5 years of blogging*

I can still remember coming across my first blog ever, and being really confused by it. It was a lifestyle blog; she would post beautiful pictures of her thrifted finds, her home, her garden, her family, a trip they had taken, etc. I didn't understand. Why was she sharing all of this? Was she selling something? It took me a while to realize that she blogged just to blog. She wasn't selling anything. At first, it seemed so bizarre. I began to understand that she blogged simply because she enjoyed sharing bits of herself and her life. She was sharing her passions just because.

Right now, I'm sharing just to share. Just because I enjoy a little break from my day to share hobbies, goals, projects, recipes, parties, etc. I am blogging just because.

In 5 years, I've blogged over 500 posts. Isn't that something?
