march recap

Every month at the end of the month, I recap my monthly activities/goals and link to various personal blog posts. See all of 2014's monthly recaps here.

Wasn't I just doing February's recap? I blinked, and the end of the month is already here. It seriously went by in such a blur that it's a good thing I have pictures to remind me of what happened this month.
I'm the typical, sleepy mommy of young children (a 6 month old, a 4 year old, a 7 year old, and a 10 year old). I am so grateful for my family: for Jesse and for the little people who brighten our everyday. I'm tired though. I won't lie to you. ;)
march goals
My March goals are hardly worth mentioning because they were a flop, but. . . if I must:

★Reorganize my craft space (again)
I hardly looked at my craft space this month. When I did look at it, as much as I wanted to work on it, there were other pressing things
+to do while Juli allowed me to have a moment. Hopefully I can get to it sooner than later.

★Paint
I mentioned that I signed up for Studio Calico's Life | Scripted class with Kal Barteski last month. My sister Jasmine did, as well. We said we would take the class together, but our evenings after she gets home from work have been so hectic. I paid for this class. I gotta take it!

Journal
I've been reading a devotional book every morning. I've been writing down inspirational passages and thoughts. I've been enjoying it.

Read
I finally picked up some books from the library. I'm in the middle of reading them. (Hooray).

Okay. So they weren't a complete flop. ;)

Here's some of what I did do this month:

★I celebrated my mom's birthday, my sister Jennifer's birthday (with a cute book exchange party), Lani's 1/2 birthday, and Juli's 1/2 birthday. Celebrating 1/2 birthdays is a new tradition for us, too.

★ I "redecoranged" my house, bought new houseplants, and discussed my home decorating style.

★ I'm at the 1/2 way point with my 52 Sandwiches Project. I also added 3 new sandwiches to my project this month.

★I tried some tasty/healthy recipes this month. I absolutely love the Greek yogurt recipes I mentioned on Friday.

★I altered $1 bin rubber stamps to work better for me. See the tutorial here.

★This month marked 5 years of blogging. I'm putting together 5 kits to giveaway later this week to celebrate. :)

Overall, I give this month 2 thumbs up. ;)

I'm glad you stopped by. Happy Monday!

  2. I love how you altered that dollar stamp...now I'm gonna have to stop by my local Michaels or Joanns to find me some cute dollar stamps to alter! Btw, those potty people flair buttons are cool, whoever wins those cute kits are very lucky!!!
