This is a sandwich that I had often growing up. My mom loves tuna & egg salad sandwiches. I don't have them as often as I did then because Jesse doesn't like any type of fish. I have it once in a while when I'm really feeling it.
For this sandwich, I made tuna & egg salad by combining a well drained can of tuna, diced hard-boiled eggs, light mayo, drained dill relish, salt, and pepper. Finally, I layered my tuna & egg salad, iceberg lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat bread.
This has always been a favorite.
