A few sandwiches ago, I made a sandwich similar to this one with a spinach artichoke spread, but this sandwich tastes nothing like that one did. (I think this one was much tastier!)


I altered this recipe slightly for this sandwich. I sautéd red onion in olive oil until it caramelized. Afterwards, I added balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. I spread the spinach artichoke spread on one slice of the Tuscan bread. I topped it with turkey breast slices (from my grocer's deli; surely you can tell by now that turkey is my favorite lunch meat), tomato slices, mozzarella cheese slices, red onion, and the other slice of bread. I grilled the sandwich just so the cheese melted lightly.

This is one, tasty sandwich!

I had this sandwich with baked potato soup. So good!
