the last week: summer break week #11

This was the last week of summer break.  I am one of those sappy moms who misses their kids when they're gone.  For our last 3 days of fun activities this is what we did . . .

On day 51 (Monday) of my girls' summer break, we went back to school shopping for supplies.
day 51
They were so excited.  I love shopping for new school supplies.  It was a win win.  :)

On day 52 (Tuesday) we went back to school shopping for new clothes.
day 52
We went to a few places, and picked up several pairs of shorts and some cute shirts:

Again, they were super excited and happy.  I was, too.  Those patterns are adorable.

On day 53 (Wednesday), the final day of summer break, we had a special, "Back to School" dinner.
day 53 (1)
We had a flatbread pizza with marinara, a flatbread pizza with pesto, and a flatbread pizza with alfredo- all with a side salad.
day 53 (3)
For dessert, we had fruit pizza and sweet strawberries, which my girls had seen in an American Girl magazine.

It was a sweet way to end our summer break.
