Summer break is coming to an end. There's only a week and a half left, and I am determined to enjoy what's left.
On day 41 (Monday), we took our girls to the "close park" again to ride their scooters. The park is within walking distance from our house. They really enjoy riding their scooters. While they scootered, I walked around the park to get in some activity. We stayed, again, until sunset. I love our evenings together.
On day 42 (Tuesday), I took them to the library for their final summer program. This week was a balloon show. My girls really enjoyed it. He was very talented.
On day 43 (Wednesday), we took our girls to our city's Farmer's Market for another evening walk. It's not a super fun activity, but they always enjoy being outdoors.
Afterwards, we went out for ice cream, which would definitely be classified as a super fun "activity." ;)
On day 44 (Thursday), they went to grandma's house for cooking and embroidery. It had been a few weeks since they had gone, so they were happy to go. Lani had a doctor's appointment earlier that day, but she dramatically insisted that she WOULD NOT miss out on going to grandma's. :)
On day 45 (Friday), we made glow stick lanterns right before our girls went to bed, so they could use them as night lights. They loved these!
