december daily 2012

I am working on a December Daily this year.  I've been wanting to do one of these for a few years now, but usually the month slips by and I don't follow through.  This time I am determined to do it.  That's why it is part of my December goals.
I've made a mess of our dining table, but the good news is that my December Daily is in the works.  My husband has one inch of space to eat dinner in the evenings, but it's fine, right?  ;)

You may remember that I am using Elise's holiday book as the base.  I added paper tape on the cover:

I am working on the layouts during the week, and printing photos to add on Friday.

As far as supplies, I am mostly using the patterned paper in Elise's holiday book, but also Martha Stewart's Christmas designer paper I bought last year (I love Martha Stewart's line; who doesn't?!), Martha Stewart's coordinating paper tape, other paper tape, rubber stamps, various embellishments from my stash, an assortment of labels, and other ephemera and found pieces.
I like how it is coming together.  :)

  1. Your December Daily is really looking good. Great way to keep up with the fast paced days of December. Holiday Bliss...

    1. Thank you! I am enjoying putting it together, and know I will like looking through it in the Decembers to come!

  2. Oh this is fabulous! I love doing books like this too (and love Martha as well!). I usually do a Christmas book, but not this year.
Yours is wonderful, I adore all your pages.

    1. Thank you, Terri! :) This is my first year doing a December Daily. I am enjoying it. I really have to make it a point to sit down and jot down things that I don't want to forget. Thank you, again, for visiting and for your kind comment!
