These are the fall jars "we" made for my girls' teachers.
Inside of a jar, I layered pumpkin bread and cream cheese frosting. I tied striped grosgrain ribbon from Close to My Heart on each of them. Using Papertrey Ink's Friendship Jar stamp set (I used the new pint-sized summer set), I made little tags. I love this stamp set and all the filler sets so much. I love giving gifts in jars*, and these are the perfect accompaniment.
I'm already working on the Winter/holiday gift jars... I'm excited about them. I have sketches and everything. I've been sitting on the idea for months now. I can't wait to share them.
Happy Monday to you!
*I'll admit when I saw Nikki's cute pumpkin loaves, I regretted not making those for my girls' teachers instead. ;)

ReplyDeleteWhat lucky teachers! You are a regular ol' Martha Stewart aren't you?
ReplyDeleteThese are too cute!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love jars too. I have been re-using them for a couple years and love decorating the tops. Great bread and frosting idea for the gift. I just bought a recipe book for "Gifts in a Jar". I'll have to share them once they are put together. Lisa
