I've always been an art journaler, I just didn't know that's what it was. I had journals, and I would save receipts, tickets, and other ephemera to glue into my journals. My favorite journal is the one I made when I first started dating my husband. He gave me a journal as a gift one day when we were dating, and I wrote down so much of our outings and dating adventures.
Well, for several years, I stopped journaling and focused more so on scrapbooking.
But recently, I started noticing art journals out there in the blog world, and I love the journals that commemorate the journaler's life. That's just what I want to do- pick up where I left off years ago with a better idea of my crafting style, and the supplies I like to use.
Speaking of favorite journaling supplies, I've delved into the world of Dennison labels recently. I had seen them before here and there, but really hadn't held one in my hand until I got a little packet of them for a swap.My friend Michelle from Hold Dear sent them to all the participants:
So, I had to have more... I bought 2 Dennison kits from Michelle's shop:
I originally talked about them here. And just recently, I bought Michelle's Little Bits collection in her shop.
I can't wait to use them in my art journals.
