petite inspiration box: flea market edition

I made these boxes for my partners Amy and Tiffany for Heather's petite inspiration swap. I covered their boxes in vintage wallpaper and a bright, yellow silk flower:
I sent them both ephemera, buttons, trims, a silk flower, and a tiny book (I will be sharing pictures of it soon):

This bright ephemera: and popping buttons:
delighted me with their cheerful colors.

See more petite inspiration boxes (they're matchboxes!) here.

  1. I din't just like, I LOVE my box of goodies from you! You packaged everything so neatly and organized, it was like a rainbow of goodness hidden inside! Happy St Patty's Day girl!

  2. I have just read your post of today and then I went back and read your previous post. I commend you for speaking your truth. We all so easily take life and our material possesions for granted. Giving to others is something I do and it feeds my soul. Thank you for sharing.
You certainly have not lost me as one of your followers.

  3. Hi Jessica, I'm glad that my comment held meaning for you. Your blog is a reflection of you and you should be able to share how you feel. If folks don't like to keep it real, then too bad for them. Life is not always rosey. We all do try to share the positive and the pretty, but sometimes life smacks you in the face and you have to take a time out to reflect on what is important. It is so easy for many to look the other way and pretend that nothing is happening. We live in a big world and have to begin to think globally ...

Each time a person stands up for an ideal,
or acts to improve the lot of others...
he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope,
and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring,
those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.
    Robert F. Kennedy (1925 - 1968)

Wishing you a bright and beautiful day -- filled with color and fun just as your pretty creations are. Blessings, Tammy
