fall recipes and crafting

The nip in the air, yummy tea, a good book, colorful scarfs, an annual Fall festival, caramel apples, apple cider, orange and brown, sweaters with matching flats, pumpkin bread with pomegranate jelly, finding grey and orange pieces for my wardrobe, butternut squash soup, autumn crafting, pumpkin picking, crazy corn, sunflowers, plush lined boots, and vintage handwritten recipes have me looking forward to Fall this year.

"Vintage handwritten recipes" has been a constant search these past few days for me on eBay and Etsy. I am especially looking forward to using vintage handwritten recipes in my crafting. I'm thinking tags, paper bag albums, and tiny books.

I found these on Etsy... (if you click on the picture you will be directed to that listing on Etsy):

I bought the listings in the last two pictures. I can't wait to get started.

  2. Great recipe cards, I'm off to check them out now. I just bought the book
"Whistlin Dixie in a Nor'Easter" and started reading it last night. I've only read a few pages but I'm very happy with what I've read. Just a suggestion. :)

  6. Jessica, we've had the same thoughts on the recipe cards! I just love the home goodness and perfect for a Thanksgiving goodie tag! But I just posted a petite inspiration since I've been a slump--I just love working in petite. Have a great week!

  7. How do you do all of this stuff? I'm always amazed at everything you're creating, especially with little ones to take care of as well. Interesting idea about the recipe cards. Should I see if I have any in the house to scan and email you? I love the B&W petite inspiration boxes. I keep missing the sign-ups, and really wanted to do the B&W one. I bought a package of those lenticular stickers, that was such a great use for them on top of the boxes. Mmm, wondering what you'll be "cooking up" next.

  8. Great post - lots of "food for thought" here! Fall is so inspiring, isn't it - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Fall colors....

Did I tell you I got my tiny books & love them? Well, I did & do! Hope your daughter's fully recovered by now.
