may day petite basket
This is the petite basket I sent Heather. (I took pictures of the one Heather sent me, but her pictures were much prettier than mine, so I invite you to look at her post here).
Heather mentioned she liked shades of white and pastel colors, so I decided to make white/creams the theme color for the basket and I incorporated a few pastel colors as accent colors.
In her package, I included trims/lace on math flashcards with coordinating charms, a dozen white paper flowers, tags from Jen's shop:
vintage ephemera pages like French text and old receipts- all in a vintage handmade pouch,

Jessica, Your swaps are extraordinary! I have to be in one, and I am so intimidated. I will pour over yours for ideas! I wanted to let you know that I have posted the "official" information post for our "Wish You Were Here" Tag Swap. Please feel free to leave any question that may come up in the next month on the post, and I will answer it there as well. Thank you again so much for participating. Your work is just beautiful, and I am so excited to see all of our postcards together! Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful Jessica! I love your white basket - how awesome! I am sorry that I didn't sign up for your swap - I am just super swamped right now and I committed to a swap that I am not sure when it is going to happen. But anyways, I don't even have a sewing machine. :( I wish!
ReplyDeleteI looooooove my sweet little basket so much! You did an amazing job with it! This was such a fun swap. I am so far behind in posting about it on my blog ~ but I will soon! Hugs!
