red and aqua swap
The first time I mentioned the red/aqua swap hosted by Apron Thrift Girl, I gave sneak peeks of what I sent to my partner Chanda:

I am now free to share what I made for Chanda because she received her package on Friday.
I included an apothecary jar filled with buttons:
This beaded button in our color scheme is my favorite:
I also included three tags with aqua trims and charms on them:
a vintage-inspired charm:
a cute owl charm with red eyes:
and a filigree-type charm:

I also sent Chanda a set of retro kitchen jars with red apples on them. Chanda mentioned she like retro kitchen items, especially those with fruit on them:

ReplyDeleteAAhh, Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI just had to check your blog today and yes I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE every single item in my swap box.
Just know I'm sending lots of hugs your way. I couldn't have had a better swap partner. Just seeing the pictures of it all again makes me jump up and down and become giddy with excitement(and if you think I'm lying my son Max just came in and asked "Mom, What ARE You doing?" I just wanted to say Thank You again for all the lovely "swaps" that I'm sure were hard to part with. But they are in very grateful hands.
Lots of Love,
Chanda
I will vouch for Chanda's excitement! She's bouncing. I was with her when she shopped for her partner and it seemed like loads and loads of fun! Cute stuff! Can't wait to see it in person on Thanksgiving!
