functional collage project: book covers

I picked up the latest issue of Somerset Home a few weeks ago, which is bursting with inspiration.
I read an article about decorative book covers, and was determined to make my own book covers. I, like the author Diane Keys, value privacy when I'm reading in public places. I actually made a few covers:
In the center of one of the flowers, I put a face made out of polymer clay. I got the idea from Kristen at Queen of Nostalgia. Look here, as well.
For this book cover, I took one of the cards from the summer card swap mentioned here and made it the focal point.

For this book cover, I used another handmade card. I got this card from this swap; look here, as well. The card I used is from Angela at Angela Harris.

I am itching to make some more.
