scrapbook portfolio for the paper bag swap

I created a scrapbook portfolio for the paper bag swap. I typically make paper bag albums, so this one was new for me.
I made it using 2 paper bags. I should've taken pictures of the process. Next time, I will! #promise
This is a side view of the portfolio.
Below is the portfolio opened up. There are mats for photos or journaling on the left page. Each mat also holds a small tag.  More memorabilia can be held in the mats, as well.
On the right, there are two larger tags, and a mini book for journaling or more pictures. Below the tags and book are outside of their pockets:
Below is a side view of the mini-book, and two large quilted tags that come out on the right. There are two pockets on the side from the opening of the paper bags: This is the back of the portfolio.

See more of my paper bag portfolios albums here. If you're interested in making your own paper bag album, I have tutorials here and here.

  1. This is wonderful. So delicate in color and theme. I would never guess it's made from a paper bag. Lisa

  2. Wow Jessica. Love what you did! I have made several paper bag albums but never a portfolio - love the shape of it and all the tags. Very feminine and functional - the perfect pairing :~) Wonderful blog - I'll make sure to peek in on you again! Have a lovely weekend with your family!

  3. whoa! i have to look at this again!! its amazing!!
